Our arrival in
Nha Trang wasnt so bad until we arrived at our hotel. The Starlet Hotel. What a hole. The most weve paid for our whole trip over 30 dollars a night and all we got was dirty pillows and cockroaches. The room itself was very nice. Nice white and hardwood floors but other than that it was gross. Linzy thinks we killed 15 cocks in total. Disgusting. We had to flush them too. The staff was very unfriendly as well as it seemed they had never worked in hotels before. In the end we waited it our and just ended up changing hotels. We ended up at Ha Van hotel which was so so so much better. Simpler for sure but the staff was great our whole stay. We found a neat brewhouse on the water/beach that we tried out. It was super nice with a pool decent food and what we thought was going to be good beer. The beer in the end was the worst part. It gave us wuite the stomach issues in the end if you get our drift. I dont know what it was about it that made us sick but it was not good at all. Then they tried to rip us off by making us pay for beach chairs we didnt even sit on. Louisiana Brewhouse it was called. Our tip. Dont go!! The next day we went on a boat tour with an aquaruim that was terrible. Snorkelling was included and boating around a few islands. A decent trip in the end and for less than 10 bucks.
We received horrible news and had to go home. Ha Van hotel was very nice organizing us our flight to Saigon and then to
Hong Kong, then to
Vancouver. In one day we flew 20 hours total and got home. What a flight. Atleast we had some "help" getting home comfortably.
