One of our friends who we work with in Roi-Et was graduating and we went to support him and came out with some good pictures. We could not get pictures of the ceremony because family and friends could not get inside we watched from the outside. Here are some neat things.
The Graduate receives his diploma from a member of the royal family. In this case one of the princesses.
When the graduate receives the diploma they must first show there is nothing in there hands by reaching forward and extending there fingers. Then they may grab the diploma.
You are not permitted to take pictures of royalty in person. We could take pictures of the T.V. screen from which we watch the presentation.
Every graduate gets (boomed) which means a group of fellow students surround the graduate and then cheers them off. Then the group can reach into the graduates hood and take out money.
