Working the whole day through..."
Well...not working the whole day through but it's been a very busy few days here in Fransan Cisco!
For those who remember Peadar - we worked together in Oce a few years back. Last time I met up with him for a pint (in Ireland) my bike got stolen...not that I blamed Peadar but I was not hoping for a repeat performance.
Anyhoo, he and his housemates have been great and kept me hugely entertained over the past few days. So I arrived last Thursday and myself and Peadar promptly celebrated with a few beers! Because my sister arrives on Friday, I'm avoiding doing any touristy things coz we might do them when she gets here. Instead I've been having a thoroughly Fransan Ciscan experience - parties in the park, outdoor concerts, hanging with the 'hipsters' (too-cool-for-school kinda people), hanging out in Berkeley, sailing on the bay (Peadar and one of his housemates are renovating a yacht!)...and I wasn't even slightly seasick!!
I could get used to this...
Is anyone still even reading this....sure aren't I here...what's more to say?!?

Maggie ya lucky thing. Any chance you could babysit for a few months, myself and Paul are thinking of heading over and doing the exact same journey?

Hey Tricky! Ha! Yes, the story of the empty muffin container was told in an effort to avoid having to go but it didn't work. I just got Dramamine instead! Am definitely available for bbsitting! Betcha Laragh would be up for the cycling too though! X
