Hi from sunny/warm/windy/rainy/cold/ make your mind up Durban. The weather is a bit tempromental especially when these cold fronts roll through. We left the windows open on our tent this morning aaand then it rained later in the day. some stuff got wet, lucky that someone else shut the windows for us.

We dragged ourselves outta bed today and headed to uShaka Sea World to see what all the fuss about there. and its pretty much like underwater world at Moolooaba exect its got seals and what not, and waterslides etc. so yeah seen it all before. there was a drum band and some singers outside which was pretty cool.

Today was a recovery day after a big one the day before. State of Origin provided some form of pre-game entertainment at 12pm before we headed off the the Moses Mahibda Stadium for Spain v Switzerland. This game was great fun. We started to wander down to the stadium again but found out we could catch a train that takes us straight to the stadium. Beer + vuvuzela in hand. The cops have no qualms about it. Nuggs (Simmo's mate) dropped his sunnies onto train tracks and the cops just waited till the train had left and just jumped onto the tracks and grabbed them. nice guy. we dominated the train station and train with our vuvuzelas. they make a great noise in confined spaces. i bet they are annoying as on tv but man they are great fun.

We sat closer to the corner flag for this game and they were great seats again. I was neutral and supported Switzerland. They scored and celebrate our corner too. Stadium looked great in the red + yellow colours of Esp and Sui.

Train ride back and more heckling of anyone on the train. great fun going to a match not having to support any team.

didn't make it to the fan fest again for Bafana Bafana. We cooked up a Braii instead. my first dose of veggies for over a week methinks. Then there was a concert on that night at basecamp with Norman Cooke aka Fatboy Slim playing. good night and knackered by the end.

Tomorow is all about finding a laudromat and getting some washing done. We bus off to Rustenburg 10.30pm tomorow night (after the Eng v Alg? game) and drive through the night. there are 3 options for what bus you can choose (sleep, normal, party) we opted for normal. i we can make it into a party bus if we want to! think its an 8 hour trip, and we have breakfast in Sun city (some massive casino, golf, mini vegas type place). and it going to be cold there too. lucky we kick off in day time.

Should be a good game against Ghana and their fans should be fun. looking forward to it.
