Westy and Lynnie lou started our journey by travelin' down "Scenic I 5" our most unfavorite interstate through the scary LA freeways finally ending up at Anza Borrego Desert State park. We joined the “Friends of Jepson Herbarium’s” awesome desert flower workshop let by Dr. Joe Rebman from the San Diego Museum of Natural History. Come check out this incredible desert ecosystem and some of the unique plant life we experienced!

SUPER QUOTE OF THE DAY:
“According to Dr. Rebman we (well the real Botanist) ID’d over 240 species of plants on our 3 day exploration of Anza Borrego the Desert.”
