In an unexpected turn of events, FIFA has announced the referees of the tournament will now select the winner of the world cup. This news is based upon evidence gathered during four games in which the Australian Football team has competed in. A mixture of hand balls, three yellow cards to one single player, inexcusable lousy decisions and plain stupididy has cost Australia potentially reaching a semi final in the worlds biggest tournament. Anyway, we should have gone through, red card, Italia 10 men, dominating the game, couldnt finish... you pay the price. The German/World Cup leg of my adventure is over. I think I havent been that gutted since Geelong got fucked up by Sydney last September. As they say, thats football. It appears as though we will be booking a train to Prague tomorrow, and potentially stay there for a week and into Slovakia and Bratislava for a few days to keep the costs down. 27 days before we fly out of Europe and into Japan, so its going to be pretty hectic, but it was all worth it to see all four of the Socceroos games. A once in a lifetime for sure.

just happen to stumble across your page and have to say we watched the game and thought it was the worst ref decission so far - am gutted for you guys you deserve to be in the last 8, know how it feels, just remember the good time and look forward to 2010
