Woke up in Prague: surreal.

Began exploring the city at Starbucks to give us the energy we need for our day. We strolled along towards Old Town Square. The entire city is laid with stone, sidewalks and streets. Musical street entertainment at every turn. Artists displaying their work, locals selling their goods.

We happened upon the astronomical clock right around noon, when it was obvious - by all the people stopping and staring - that something was about to happen. Ari guessed it would resemble a coo-coo clock; Annie predicted it would be "anticlimactic". Both were unfortunately right... there is a video of it for your disappointment :)

Old Town Square is very charming and exciting. We stood and listened to a pianist in the middle of the courtyard - he was incredible. We requested some John Williams/Star Wars; he delivered (video of this on the blog as well).

We crossed the Charles Bridge and admired the John Lennon wall.

Short story:
Ari once thought that James dean was a Beatle. Naturally, Annie thought it would be funny to call the John Lennon wall the James Dean wall instead. Later, we saw the James Dean bar.
Ari goes: "Wait, was James Dean really a singer or an actor?"
Annie: "...Can you at least guess?"
Ari: "Singer?"
Annie & Becca: sighhhhh...

Our sight seeing was interrupted when we stumbled upon an amazing local cafe for lunch. During lunch we attempted to created words that described a 1-5 rating scale:

1: ugly
2: not bad/so so
3: okay
4: cute
5: attractive

We had a difficult time finding a word for #2, what the heck is the opposite of cute???

Had a lil R&R before heading out for dinner in Old Town Square. The buildings were all illuminated & music was everywhere. Dinner was followed by a visit to the bar Kelsey used to work at while she lived here :) We are doubting it is still the "hole in the wall" she described it to be.
