Many of our Polish friends spoke very highly of All Souls Day. They said it was well worth being in town to see. And after witnessing the solemn and strikingly beautiful scene for myself, I can wholeheartedly agree. Visiting the cemetery at night and seeing the unfathomable number of candles lighting the graves was very touching and memorable. The memory of that scene is one of the things I will remember the most about Warsaw.
