Well Mike and I got off to a hell of a start this week. After an incredibly rushed departure from work (where the gusts were hitting about 30 mph or so) we headed into the North End to pic up Mike's bags. We planned on snagging some last-minute travellers checks to pay our rent when we arrived in Warsaw, but G didn't want to sign 300 checks for some reason. So we nixed that idea as the rain really started to come down. So there we are, about to head for the airport, with a thousand pounds of luggage...about to get soaked. Apparently, cabs are hard to come by in that part of town as a downpour begins...imagine that! We were able to to eventually steal someones cab out from under them, just before we made it to the Aquarium T stop...whew.
