We just returned from a bus ride through the city..what a confusing city with 20 different parts. I could not believe all the sites that one could see. Now I know why people spend so much time just in Paris.
This afternoon we will go to Verailles.

Versailles is a beautiful collection of palaces, buildings, gardens, etc that are an unbelievable testament to the excesses of the time. No wonder the poor people of the time wanted to behead the royalty and nobility. It's a wonder that it took them so long to revolt!
