A short train ride brought us from Austria's to Hungary's capital. Budapest is more of a typical big city, some nice sights on Buda- as well on Pest side of the Danube river. Maybe we were starting to get tired of our running around from sight to sight slowly, but it ended up a bit tiring running around this big city. The Parliament was the most impressive building of this city, which towers up on the Pest side, right at the banks of the Danube.
We went around with the public transport on both sides of the river, at our mandatory portion of goulash in a cozy restaurant in a small side street in Pest, took the rack railway up the Buda Hills and strolled around the old parts of the town.
