Got there a few hours before I was due so that I could have a little wander. Had a look at the town in general, the university, the cathedral, this other church, which is apparently where some of Harry Potter was filmed.
I was particularly excited by this little shop which is apparently one that the real Alice, of Wonderland fame used to frequent! It used to be a sweet shop. It was full of all sorts of Wonderlan memorabilia. I love that book, it's one of the first I can remember reading so consequently I found myself spending more pounds than I'd planned there!
