Wow, this has to be the most amazing place I have been too. We decided, partly thought lack of last minute choice to splash out on a first class boat, and I am so pleased we did, it was worth every penny.
Our trip was for 8 days on a boat called Monsarrat and in that time we visited about 5 different islands, my favorites were Santa Cruz, Espanola and North Seamore. An average day (in fact everyday) consisted of this routine.
7am Breakfast (fruit, eggs, ham, toast, cereal etc
7.30 Visit to an Island for a walk or a snorkel
9am Visit to an Island or snorkel
12pm Lunch (more food than you can shake a shark at)
1-2.30 relaxation on the boat reading and sunbathing on top deck
2.30 another island
5pm return to boat
7pm Dinner
I won´t write much here as the attached pictures will give you the best idea of what the islands were like. But many of the birds and animals we saw were indigenous to the Galapagos islands and are still so rare as to only be found there. Snorkeling was also amazing literally swimming with sealions, whitetiped sharks, giant turtles and Galapagos penguins. On the land we say hundreds of iguanas (you literally had to step over them) more sealions, blue footed boobies, magnificent frigate birds, pelicans, flamingoes and lots lots more.
8 days just flew past, I want to go back!!

Hi there,
I'm just about to book my around the world ticket. Would you recommend booking a tour of the galapagos or should I wait until I get to quito? Also how much should I expect to pay??
Thanks
Matt
