Tuesday the 8th (I think it was still Labor Day back in the USA): we got up early enough to catch the bus to take us from Cremorne to our meeting place to get picked up at the Menzies Hotel. Once we got going, our 4 wheel drive bus drove out of town for about 30 minutes and stopped by the Featherdale Wildlife Park. We got to pet a koala (one of our guides told us to call them "koala" only because they are not bears. So I'm going to try to be compliant :p), check a few animals native to the area including some wombats, bats, kangaroos (of course), and .... would you believe... wait for it .... wait for it..... a Tasmanian Devil! (well I thought it was cool). After that, we all loaded up and headed towards the Blue Mountains. The difference between this tour and the others heading to the same destination was with the 4 wheel drive, we go down some very remote paths (really thin and winding and bumpy paths). We stopped about half way and tried to play the didgeridoo (if I spelled it wrong, too bad! I'm too tired to look it up). When I took a shot at it, the guide proceeded to make a joke about it sounding like someone had a little too much Indian food the night before (think about it, I don't want to go into too much detail. If you don't get the Indian food reference, think beans - that about sums up my musical ability - ok nuff said about that). After a little boomerang throwing and a really really good barramundi lunch, we headed on up to the 3 Sisters Mountains Formation and took a suspended a suspended cable car ride down to the lower parts to look around and rode a train with one of the steepest train rides in the world. There was a point where we were turned completely up right in our seats with only the safety cage around us holding in. By the way I'm writing this at about 10:30 pm on Wednesday the 9th which is about 7:30 am Wednesday morning US central time. Just think, I'm going to bed soon and everything one back home is just starting work. Sorry! Couldn't resist! hehe

Re: Jealous!!
They should be attached with the entry. At least when I view it they show. They better be there. I think I was charged a little extra on the internet connection when I uploaded them.

Re: Hey!
We pretty much got adjusted to the sleep schedule right away. Most of the way by Tuesday (when we took that mountain tour) and completely by Wednesday morning. I'm glad I'm taking next week off to get adjusted back. One of the parents with kids on Drew's team is going back to work the day after arrival.
