The next day at Rundale, we toured the 18th C palace of a Russian/Lithuanian Duke's family. It was designed by the same architect who designed the Winter Palace in St Petersburg.

I must admit, I'm enjoying the trip immensly. This living vicariously has it's advantages but I would have loved to be there in person for the night picnic and sauna.
