We enjoyed warm farewells from several new friends in El Paso. It is nice to look forward to returning here someday: to a community of people and a place we have gotten to know--though I often realize that we've just scratched the surface and there's much more to discover. Many tourist travelers merely get an impression of a city or a country. This trip has permitted us to settle in a bit and get more that just a glimpse of the Border: land that is neither TX nor MX, but is a culture all its own.

From here we're headed to visit family in Colorado---but future travels and learnings will be the topic of other travelblogs some other future time. Thanks for your interest in our journey.
