I made a quick trip to Anthony, a town 15 miles north of here that spans the state line between TX and NM. My meeting was at the Women's Intercultural Center. Since it's a small town, I wasn't expecting much there. Was I wrong!

The Center is beautiful--the largest building on the complex is constructed of old auto tires packed with adobe and mud. I've never seen anything like it. The architecture is beautiful. A labyrinth is tiled into the floor of the main building, using local rocks--smoothed and lovely.

Sr. Kathleen, a center director, has been a pleasure to get to know while we've been in the El Paso area because of her great sense of humor and get-it-done ability.

Enjoy the snapshots!
