Another border town

We hit Del Rio, found a cheap motel, and noticed the difference immediately from the more Mexican Eagle Pass. There were people speaking English and also a noticeable Anglo population.


Unfortunately, we just missed seeing/meeting Bob Decker of Paper Houses Across the Borders, Inc. His group's been featured on national TV programs for the mission trips they sponsor into Ciudad Acuna's colonias. His website is frank; a former police officer, he doesn't mince words.

But fortunately for us, Juan and Margarita--who work with Bob as well as doing a tremendous amount of mission work in MX and in the U.S. of their own--sponsored us on our own personal mission trip into Mexico. More details in tomorrow's posting.
