So since i last wrote I have been through Cambodia, and from Southern Vietnam up to the top, Hanoi. Cambodia is a pretty mental place, very worth going to for the sights but not the nicest place in the world generally, the amount of hasssling there is ridiculous. But Angkor Wat was awesome and quite amazing to see. The Killing Fields where Pol Pot killed millions of people was also a very interesting/disturbing place. Wouldn't want to go again, but pleased i went! Then on to Vietnam, which has been a real breath of fresh air, the people are friendly and you dont feel like your getting ripped off every two seconds. Vietnam didnt start too well for me though, in true English fashion I went out without any suncream and got royally burnt, it was not fun, actually kind of spoilt a bit of the trip but im back on solids now and its all good! Now we are in Hanoi and going up to Sapa on the night train, although we havent got a sleeper so i feel it is going to be an uncomfortable ride. Should be quite fun though as we have just met up with Anna and Leonie two girls from Uni so the more the merrier! Sorry it seems like this entry is pretty dull but theres not really much more to say, Asia is so stop start, you are not really anywhere long enough to have any stories that would be interesting to you lot! Off to Beijing soon and basically got about three weeks in China before returning home on the 25th of August, looking forward to seeing you all, gonna plan a massive booze up me thinks so keep your schedules free! Miss you all xxx
