Slept late, walked to some big Buddist Monastary, but didn't stay long because there were too many beggars and people trying to sell us useless things. Then did some tourist shopping before a very light lunch (trying to make up for all the eating we have done the past week).
We hope to get the 27 hour train to Beijing tomorrow, however our Hostel, who promised we would they would have them for us when we got back from our tour, are now telling us that we may not be able to get that train and will have to wait until Thursday to get our of here. We will hear late tonight or early hours of tomorrow if we can get on the train, otherwise we must find an alternate way out, as we will NOT wait here until Thursday.

I'm surprised...
...you can even bear to think of a train journey again! Is it possible to fly out of there to Beijing? And then the trip from B to HK is also about 24 hours - you're never going to want to see another train again in your life! -C-
PS Have you taken pictures of U.B.? I've always wanted to know what it looks like. I can't wait for your Gobi photos too. What an ..... experience. I can't even think of a word for it. It's too mind-blowing.
Amazing story...
This is incredible stuff - can just imagine the camel ride - and don't want to imagine some of that 'food' - and can't imagine that cold. Here I am getting my garden ready for your arrival, and you're still in a world that sounds like fiction - and yet we'l be talking on Sunday- hope you can make it...
