We stopped at Glen Canyon dam to have a look at the dam. It was huge and it was human made . We also did a junior ranger programme and got our 2nd Junior Ranger badge.

As we were leaving Glen canyon dam it started pouring with rain. The lightning over the dam was
pretty amazing. There was also little waterfalls coming out of the side of the
canyon. Dad had to go get Harvy and bring him to the Glen canyon visitor center
so we didn’t get soaked. [Note from Dad - of course I had to go and get the van and so only 3 didn't get soaked] ( Note from mum, we were told as Dan was getting the van that Glen Canyon gets 7 inches of rain a year and were getting about 2 of them at that moment. So Dan really did get wet- tee hee). Annoyingly we had left all the windows open so Harvey
was pretty much soaked too!
