We spent a day at Bryce National Park and it was not long enough. This is another canyon that you view from the rim and the scenery is stunning.

 We walked a short trail from the top, down a very steep track, along the bottom and up through a section that is called The Queen's Garden- you can see Queen Victoria there.
Dan was in photographers heaven. See if you can spot the rock that looks like a hatching dragon?! {Let us know in the comments}

Joe thinks that he can spot chocolate on Oliver's face so is really envious of your trip!! I think it all looks amazing and am feeling really jealous (not helped by the fact that I have spent this evening trying to drain Yvonne's garden after she left me to water the plants and I left the tap running for 4 days! That'll teach her to give me positions of responsibility - hope it doesn't rain tonight! Missing you loads. Are you going to Yorkshire in October? lol Lynne xxxxx

Hi All. It's just coming up to the end of week 3 of the summer holidays for us here in Northwood and as it's raining Charlotte and Matthew have just spent time reading all about your exciting adventure. I am pleased to see that Rossner travel logs have improved significantly over the last 20 years - gone are the bi-monthly dashes to poste restante to see if anyone has written to us. Followed by long evenings spent penning our hilarious replies -well one of us was funny! The budget, too, seems to have increased -helicopters!! The nearest we got was in that English/Indonesian phrase book which was everso helpful "Please can you show me the way to the helipad" "I have lost my keys to the Ferrari!". How times have changed. Lesley and I commented on the same thing just last week over another bottle of farewell bubbly "We've come a long wasy since Blue Nun!" Well some of us have anyway!! Enjoy and look forward to the next installment. xx

What an adventurous action packed trip you are having! Millie and Oliver look like they are having the time of their life - keep having fun and writing the blog, I'm loving reading it.
Lots of love xx
