Also got to visit with my extended family(most of them) down in Jacksonville. We had a little mini-Christmas in July since a lot of people were already in the area. Jacqui and I gave out presents since I'm pretty sure that we're not going to be on this continent when Christmas rolls around (I'm thinking...Tasmania!). It was really good to see everyone, playing Settlers and catching up. For any family that is reading this, there is still an open invitation to come visit us wherever we are at Christmas! Still have to pay for your own tickets though.
I finally took Jacqui to the Space and Rocket Center while we were down this time. We were talking about what to do and she mentioned that. I never thought she was interested in going so I've never taken her in 7 years of bringing her down to Huntsville.
It was also good to see some of my high school friends. Everyone is having kids now! It's gonna make it really hard for them to come out and visit Jacqui and me when we travel.
We ended up spending about 5 days in Alabama....now on to the next thing
