So Elias and I drove to Vitoria yesterday.  When we got into Vitoria, we stopped to buy my plane tickets to fly to Curitiba the next day to go meet with other suppliers.  Right after we left the airport, Elias gets a call from the Brazilian corporate office saying that they couldn't book us a hotel room.  Apparently this week was the big international Marble and Granite Association meet.  So every hotel room within 50km was sold out.  So we scramble to try to find a hotel room.  We found ONE!  They said it was a double room, but when we got up to it, there was one bed and a couch.  Some double.  Elias said he'd sleep on the couch-bed since it was softer.  But, after all these years, I've had to live with a roomate like the first year of college again.  Good thing it was only for 2 days.  Its not that we don't like each other.  I just really prefer my own space.  That's why I was so happy when my roomate left RIT after Christmas break of 2001.

Other than having to share bathrooms and internet connections the hotel was really nice.  They had a cool rooftop pool to lounge by.  When it was really windy, you could tell the building was swaying by the rythym of the water in the pool sloshing back and forth.  Also, the parking was up on the second floor.  But there was only about 100ft of ramp to take you all the way up.  I didn't know if the little GM Prisma would be able to handle that sort of incline.
