The beginning of college life

At this orientation, I met my future wife, Jacqui, and many of the friends that I hung out with all through college and still keep in touch with. I partied at the fraternity house of the fraternity I would end up joining (even though I went to college saying I would never join a frat)
, and I met many of the Campus Security officers who would end up writing me citations for fireworks, potato guns, off-roading on campus, etc.(they also let me slide on a lot of stuff because of my southern charm). It was one of the better weeks in my life hanging out with everyone with no classes or real obligations.
I was accepted into RIT in Rochester, NY. So for orientation, my family and I took a road trip up to Rochester. My orientation was for a week and the family orientation was for 4 days. So after the 4 days, mom, dad, Derek, and Jared took off for another road trip to Hershey, PA and other points on their way back to Alabama. (as a note, if you are driving through Ohio on I-75 and I-71, don't go faster than 5mph over the limit. The state troopers on those stretches of road are always out in force)
