On the drive to Bukhara, I got sun stroke and was feeling like I was going to die.  I was in the desert sun from morning until evening.  By the time we got to Bukhara, I thought I was going to pass out and I wasn't sweating anymore.  At the hotel, I just sat in the room in the air-conditioning drinking lots of water and trying not to fall asleep.  I couldn't hold out for that long though and ended up passing out while Mike and Lauren went out to find food.

The desert driving was pretty cool though.  In places, the desert was reclaiming the roads.
