So long story short...Jacqui and I are traveling to Israel on Monday...which this decision just was made this afternoon/evening.

How did this come about you ask? Well have a seat little Timmy and let me tell you tale....

Once upon a time, a great wandering explorer named Billy of Bama decided to break free of the chains of the office to travel for work.  This allowed him and his beautiful lady the freedom to chase the sun wherever their hearts desired...when not traveling for work.  Some time after this way of life was declared the ideal lifestyle in the Pittenger castle, a call was put forth from the Halls of Human Resources, "Hear ye, Hear ye! The King of HR has decreed that TWO magic tickets, which will take you to whichever of the far corners of the Earth you wish to go and back in the Class of the Kings, are available to whomever lay claim first! You must travel on the great winged birds of Continental, and you must travel quickly!  For these magic tickets shall disappear forever on the 23rd day of July."

Billy of Bama quickly raised his right-mouse-button-clicking-finger and lay claim to the magic tickets.  But lo and behold, two other misbegotten souls, so tethered to the master of Blackberry, caught wind of this announcement first, and lay claim.

But fear not!! For these poor men could not handle the magic of the tickets to make the tickets deliver them across the world.  And their claims were lost!

And so the responsibility and power of the magic tickets fell upon Billy, who with his lady by his side, looked at the map of the known world and said, "Monday is a good day to go to Micronesia!"

Alas!  The ruler of the great winged birds of Continental deployed some cruel trickery and declared the tickets no good for this travel. After much negotiation with the viceroy of Continental, the so called Customer Servicers, it was settled that the furthest these magic tickets could send Billy and his lady in the Class of the Kings was to the land of Israel.  And so it was, and will be....

To be continued...from Tel Aviv!

Endless holidays
You've both just come back from the UK! Are you rich or are your spending your children's inheritance? Whatever...enjoy yourselves and don't drink too much arak.

DINK is a good way to be...
Not rich, but not having kids can feel that way sometimes. Lots of freedom to pick up and leave whenever the opportunity arises like it did now. HOORAY for free business class tickets to anywhere!
