As promised, I'm posting the second half of the pictures we took today.
As I watched a beautiful day, come to an end, the first strange site was this giant boardwalk along the bay.  First it was completely empty, but shortly before 5pm it started to fill with people.  Hundreds at first, but then thousands.  I couldn't see that while the area was nice, it would attract this much attention from even the locale population.

Moving towards the boardwalk we realized everyone was gathering on the sea wall at the edge of the bay.  Deciding that it was obviously the "place to be", we moved to a vacant spot along the wall and waited with the others.

It was obvious that at least some of the people here were here to see the sunset?  As there were couples along the wall, here and there, obviously spending some quality time together.  So we waited...

As the sun began to set, well you can see the photos. Beautiful doesn't quite speak towards the scene.  As the sun hit the water, the sky become  like it was on fire, and more beautiful than that was the line of faces going on for hundreds in both directions that smiled and gazed into the kind of beauty that only God can paint with nature.

Truly an experience to behold.
But wait!  That wasn't all.  As we left the boardwalk to find dinner, a young man, obviously intent on selling us on his restraunt, suggested we have dinner on the open patio and watch "the fireworks"... Well!  Now that was a suprise.  I thought ironically.  Here I'm all emotional after watching the most amazing sunset I've seen in my life and it seems like "the crowd" is here for the black powder fireworks more than the heavenly ones... or maybe it's a double feature I decided.
