Well it was a short and uneventful flight into LAX, downside is we had to leave security, get our bags and then trek back through security to stand in line at the Philipine Airlines desk.  Supposedly we're suppose to move through our "short" line quicker than those who are not in Buisness Class... yeah well... that would require more than one poor lady who is having troubles with the first Buisness Class customer to move a bit faster than the 10 attendants processing the dozens of coach passengers.  Thankfully someone noticed after 30 minutes that our line was not moving and designated some other folks to help her out.

Bags checked, we moved up to the upper deck, had some dinner and waited for the time we should move through security again and find our gate.

Here's a view of what 1st Class on the inside of our plane looks like... very spacious and lots of head room.  Not to mention the small squad of very attentive flight staff who were awesome.  They made a 14 hour trip through continuous darkness, much less painful than we expected.  As you might not have determined, leaving LAX at night and flying West means that we are roughly traveling at the same "speed of darkness"... lol!  Or a better explaination is that we traveled at a speed that continuously set the clock backwards into the previous time zone where it was still dark, matching the dark side of the earth for 14 hours.

Doesn't Pat look thrilled?  Lol!
