So as I already mentioned in my last update that we weren't able to end our roadtrip in Yosemite on Sunday due to a big snow storm that closed the roads leading up to the park. We decided to drive back to San Francisco that same night instead, so I called up the Vyas family again and asked if it would be OK for me to stay with them for a few more days. They are honestly the nicest people I've ever stayed with, so hospitable and fun! I really hope I can repay them somehow someday!

I spent two days with the Vyas family, it was a good chance for me to catch up on email, washing etc. Living out of a backpack with a limited amount of clothes has been surprisingly easy so far. I thought I might find it really annoying, but I've been lucky to have been staying with people in several different places over the past three weeks that have been so kind to let me wash my stuff whenever possible. I do however think that by the time I get up to Canada next week it will be nice to settle down in one place for a while and have a place to call 'home' for a few months.

I had planned to go to Muir Woods on Tuesday, a big forest near San Rafael that's apparently really beautiful, but it rained all day so I decided not to go. Got to leave something to do whenever I'm over here next time I guess :-)!
