Today is Wednesday and we journeyed via big coach bus to Kakadu National Park about 4 hours drive from Darwin.  Well worth the trip, while in the Park, we took a boat trip on the East Alligator River to see the wildlife - crocodiles, pelican's, sea eagles, ducks, birds, fish.  Most of the area is within a flood plain, but because we are here in the dry season, we can actually see the river.  Very warm - I might actually tan (yah right)  but the sunscreen did make an appearance and we are still in shorts and tshirts.  We stayed the night within the National Park at the Aurora Kakadu Hotel, when we arrived Ben noticed the friend we had staying with us.  See if you can spot him in the pictures - he lives in that bowl!  We arrived at the hotel with plenty of time to swim in the pool, have a nice relaxing drink and then dinner.  Due to the early morning, bedtime is usally early.  If we make it till 10:00pm we are doing VERY well.
