WOW!!!!

This is one of the most spectacular sights I have seen in my life. The Niagra Falls .

We arrived here in the afternoon, and the excitement was building as my Tom-Tom didn't sleep a wink in the car. As we drove through the town towards our hotel we got a glimpse - and we thought that was awesome, so we were in for a big surprise.

The falls is .... well words cant describe how beautiful and amazing and fantastic and spectacular it is. Its made up of two parts, the USA part and the Horseshoe (Canadian) part. Its shared between both countries and the border to both countries is basically this lake.

At night they turn on these huge multimillion watt bulbs that rotate different coloured lighting onto the falls. It looks just so stunning. Pictures (lots and lots cos I took about 200 pics of it) attached.

The next day we did the ever popular 'Maid of the Mist' boat ride. As you walk towards the boat they got these tv's and in one of the scenes they say "some people say this is this best boat ride in the world". Well I dont know what the best ride is, but this was really amazing and fun. You get up close and personal to both falls, wearing those famous blue rain plastic coats, and get absolutely soaked because the spray from the falls is so so much from the force of the falls. Really truely fantastic.

Its highly recommended and put it high on your priority list ladies and gents. With long faces we bid good-bye to the falls, and headed back on the road to Pittsburgh, our halfway stop to Washington.

Enjoy the pics
