Rain?.. anbody... no.... Rain?... anbody... no... Rain?

In Warsaw it rained a lot. The End

So, to begin, me and Ciaran went to catch the bus from Vilnius at 11pm. Instead of catching the bus or taxi, we walked for a good 40 minutes with our backpacks up hill! We made it feeling pretty good we did the fit and healthy thing. At the bus station i decided i was really busting to go to the bathroom. No worries i will just go down stairs to the WC. I tried the door. Then a lady came up from the inside and shouted abuse for me trying to enter at such a time. Desperate times called for desperate meausures. So i used the carpark outside. It was all concrete and i choose the dark reserved spot for the manager of the train station. I was quite proud of my achievement. Especially on the bus when the toilet was few and far between. A bus which took 8 hours and i got nearly no sleep on.

In the morning at Warsaw we hoped on what we thought was the right bus according to the lonely planet. It was, just in the wrong direction. We went to the end of the line and then caught it back again. Finding out on the bus that you were meant to buy your ticket before you got on the bus.

Got a morning granny nap at the hostel (Nathans Villa} a great hostel beacuase each bed had its own personal light. Its all about the personal light i tell ya and also the free breakfast. We walked around town, towards the old town, it rained and it rained and it rained. The professional chinese poncho came out. (See Pic). Warsaw town square was i reckon the best old town square i have seen yet. Although it was all rebuilt after WW2. The whole city has been rebuilt because of WW2 when half the population of the city was killed. Everthing has a note.. reconstructed 1955.

Ciaran went to a museum, i went to the movies, saw Pirates of the Caribean 2, which in Polish is written completley different. I just walked in and said wats that movie on in 5 minutes. She didnt speak english but i worked it out. Not too many people in Poland speak english, which makes it more fun i think.

Food was pretty expensive in Poland, I did manage to find a bizarre kebab place which had a line. All their kebab places have lines. I got a kebab. It was massive and awful!! I spilt it everywhere. The kebab line was wierd. You pay then you line up. And whats with all these countries in europe putting locks on their fridges. If you want a coke, you have to get them to press a button to release a lock to open the door. Its so frustrating especially when you walk up to the door and try for ages to rip the handle off wondering what the hell is wrong with the door. I think in the past few days i ended up eating 2 kebabs and 3 pizzas!

Theres lots of wall art and little emblems everywhere. I saw some anti jewish stuff which was a bit wierd. Calling some streets jew streets and stuff like that. Lots of people have dogs which is cool.

Second day in Warsaw it rained again!! Walked around. Saw yet another movie. The breakup. Was quite a sad movie if anyones seen it. I was sort of over walking around and seeing things so just wanted to chill out with yet another movie. English with Polish subtitles, so all good.

I should have seen more in Warsaw. I just got lazy and went to the movies instead!
