this morning we stopped at Anastasia�s on the north shore. It is a hotel with a restaurant built out on their pier. Its a good place to hang out for sun and beer and to snorkel along the coral reef. They have mapped out a trail that breaks it out by beginner, intermediate and advanced spots. They only difference i could see was depth and perhaps a little more current to deal with. All in all i was unimpressed with the area, looks like most of the coral had been broken off and we didnt see a the variety of fish and rays we expected. Once you got out to about 20 feet deep it was more interesting but i think most people that have dived the caribbean would be disappointed.

Anatasia�s is a very cool place but it is rundown, the upper deck has great potential to be a perfect hangout for sun and fun but they had it blocked off because the plank floor was rotting away. We spent a couple hours there then headed back to Picnic Center which has the best beach on the island. Picnic Center is ripe for a prime beach spot in the coming years, right now has a three places for beer and food, two hotels and alot of jungle.
