Our activity for the day was to walk into Kongsberg and catch the train to Drammen to do some shopping. When we arrived, we were surprised to find that Drammen was having a festival in town.
We stopped to watch the ski jumping competition that used the river as a landing (sorry I recorded the video sidways - it's still fun to watch)
; there was also music and food. For dinner we decided to try several different food items as there was a wide variety of foreign foods. Our menu included: baked potatos, kabob in naan bread from India, pizza and Norwegian waffles. This was of course topped off with ice cream for desert. It was a lot of fun until it started to rain, then we spent the rest of evening in the mall - Christine was just hating that :^) ...
When the mall closed at 8PM, we walked back to the Drammen train station in the rain and rode back to Kongsberg - a nice little adventure.
