With the music blaring and us singing and dancing in the car we set off for our next destination.  The music is turned down and the car slowed as we pass the local neighbourhood watch (guys with machine guys and ropes) but the ride is essentially uneventful and we arrive at San Ignacio around 3:30am.  Turns out the combis (Peruvian minibuses) don┤t leave until waking hour of about 5:30 so we take our only option and squat on the sidewalk amidst the sound of homeless lifeguard whistle man and various other fun friends.  The time is passed with the scotch bottle and some oreo cookies.  At this point the girls think it would be fun to dress me up in a skirt and put makeup on me.  Maybe it was the scotch, maybe the lack of sleep but for whatever reason, I acquiesce.
Drivers of the combis awake and people start coming from nowhere and begin piling into the minivans.  We get stuffed into tightest package of bus ever.  knees are bruised as we bump along a Ęgood road".  I don┤t think I actually sat on the seat - I was suspended above the by the men on either side of me, such was the compression of passengers.  Three hours of this and we arrive in Jaen.
