We are still flummoxed by the absolutely phenomenal incredible, breathtaking scenery!!!! pics will indicate this.
I'd heard of/read about this potter Louis Mulcahy near/in Dingle but thought nothing more about him
. OH my goodness - yes, stumbled on his actual shop along this drive and Rich went nuts. Huge piece in gorgeous blue being shipped tomorrow. Now he'll definitely need to go back to work and soon!! I found some smaller pieces for the boys/gals - hoping they'd be much happier with this memento than the proverbial Tshirt! Stopped back in town after negotiating crazy narrow roads back and had a celebratory glass of wine and R his Guinness at a Pub on the seashore - and of course had to do his Mike/Tim thing - sigh...some boys never grow up.
Laundry done by great folk here - 2 loads for 12 Euro's! beats the laundromat!
Soon off to dinner & some Celtic music - and again...we'll sleep when we get home!!
Relaxed morning, coffee and tea after breakfast in the sitting room overlooking Dingle Bay then off for a walkabout the town. Raining today! (but just until noon!) so popped into one or two shops, trying to decide whether to buy Tshirts for the kids or trinkets....only Guinness things seemed interesting...nothing really exciting... so walked back up hill to our B and B and had tea with bakery goodies :). Had a great time in a wee bookstore finding books for Zac about Fungie the resident dolphin who still resides in Dingle Bay, taken care of by locals :). Rich snored a bunch then off we went for a drive to check out some of the rest of the peninsula.
