Escorted to car, already for us, by the Owner/manager of Hotel Herrnschloss in Rothenburg, with a bag with 2 bottles of water – very sweet and so kind. Great fun at lovely breakfast "he's the funny Italian" the owner said about our waiter J. Easy exit to A7 from Rothenburg – we’re off on the autobahn!! Time flew!! Traffic great to Frankfurt – a holiday so it was astounding to see the traffic out of Frankfurt! Bumper to bumper and stopped on this busy freeway. A3 straight to airport, about 2 hours total – the speeds one travels!! Whew! Rich did an awesome job driving – Volvo used so little fuel – everything easy and ontime. Settled into lounge to while away a few hours before catching a very full flight to Budapest.

Easy cab ride – just over 30 minutes 6000 forints /22 Euros and we were at the Hotel Buda Fashion Hotel on Castle Hill and who should greet us but Johnny! They had basically just arrived too.

A welcome drink (waiter said not to have beer – Hungarian beer not good but the wine is great J) Short snoozes and freshening up and out to dinner – rec by hotel staff – ok but quite touristy – wanted to tell the violin player to be quiet! But a very humourous waiter – what a face when Lanett tried to order veggies with her dish – and swept his hand down his arm – entertaining at least.
