Where I stayed
Well, I certainly do take big bites when I do things!! This is full on Hatha Yoga! of which I've never had a single class before coming here :) Ya might say I'm learning a heck of a lot! and fell into bed totally pooped at 9 last night (first nite) and if I can get there earlier tonite, it WILL happen! The great part is that I have private classes because the others have experience - sweeet!! and I have a lovely gentle teacher who watches carefully - pushes me to go as far as I can (and sometimes a tad further) but overall is sensitive to my constraints. What an experience. 3 classes (2 x 1 1/2 hour and one one hour) so far - same number to do before leaving. Massage has never felt so good - another tomorrow.
Too tired to upload photo's - more time tomorrow as have had 2 other incredible times as well. 1. Several of us were taken to a local "Light" festival last night - something like 100,000 lites/mini oil lamps burning everywhere and visited inside their temple as well - in this tiny local village. These guys seem to love having picture taken so have some "interesting" shots - check back tomorrow. 2. Served lunch to children at a different village orphanage today. Shreyas takes lunch to them about twice a week; guests help prepare it and then serve it. Again incredible shots of such sweet happy faces - they all (about 30) sleep in a room about the size of our front hall :(. Mind is spinning on how to help/help with their new building project etc etc. It is run by an old Indian woman who was an orphan herself - picture to follow. Incredible.
Dinner time - veggies meals are out of this world.
Pictures tomorrow - I promise!
