Cartajima to Seville

Great bus ride – only 1 hours on speedy bus! Views were marvelous and nice to relax and not drive especially when we reached Seville – we'd never have found our way through these tiny town streets.  One Brit couple entered the town and immediately parked in a parkade cuz of confusion :)

Imagine my delight when we arrived in town and the bus stop was so close to the Feria (annual fair after Easter) to see dozens and dozens of women, old and young dressed in their gorgeous flamenco dresses, big frills, all polka dots of all sizes – absolutely wonderful!  See pics!

Sevilla is a smaller city, flat and easily walked which we did after a quick (too quick choice) 'lunch’ in a spot next to our hotel and off to see if any shopping was close by.  We have hardly done any shopping this trip – poor children :).  All shops closed early for Feria.  After a wee rest, off to find the first restaurant in the world to start tapas - 1670!!  Found it!! In a odd little corner of La Macarena – En Rincanella – wonderful tapas, albeit a slow funny waiter but added to the entertainment.  Wound our way back to our hotel on the Alameda de Hercules and fell into bed once again – slept until 11:00 a.m. the next day!
