Pictures will show my hours at the Chateau Versailles.  Had a great tour organized by Conference folk - just 20 of the spouses - Cathy Wainwright (funny eh Bren?) new friend from Denver Colorado and I shared the tour and laughter.   Highlight - a phenomenal Opera House right in the Chateau -made totally of wood -tour guide "Like being inside a violin"  could only imagine the accoustics when music played/sang.  Could hear opera singing in the background. Then  Bizzaro!!!  A Japanese sculpture exhibit interspersed throughout the Chateau with all the old works of art.  Caused one to wonder what will future generations see of the works of art of our times??  these colourful characters??  Who will the Monets be?
Awkwardly organized tour to the Eiffel Tower for 300 to end Conference but wouldn't want the job myself :) then the 6 of us - 2 Mexican couples R and I have known for over 15 years -  decided to skip going back on the busses and to find a restaurant in Paris.  Ricardo (no not Rich - the Mexican Ricardo) stopped a jogger who had paused to tie his shoelace and asked for his recommendaion  "Au Petit Sud Ouest".  What a dinner, laughter and fun with the owners and those durn Mexicans sure know how to enjoy wine!!  Pictures tell much!!
