7.5 hrs from Singapore to Sydney, this leg of the journey dragged a little but I watched a couple of movies, dozed, enjoyed another nice meal/wine and before we new it we were touching down in Sydney.
Impressed with the speed of getting through immigration, quarantine & customs(watching all those 'nothing to declare' TV programmes from Australia paid off!) & all that advice from Mark at Heathrow.
Our coach driver was impressed at the speed do our group collecting luggage and clearing customs, all going well so far.

Our hotel is in a good location close to Darling Harbour. Rooms all ready for at 8am, fantastic, well done Titan. Rooms Fe very spacious and well appointed.
Having a short relax/rest and will start exploring the city a little later.
It's rather a dull day but the cloud might break later as still early Sunday  morning.

A good rest and you'll be set up to explore.

My sister was in Sydney this New Year as part of her trip with my niece and nephew. They celebrated New Year's Eve at the botanical gardens. As they left, Helen tripped over and knocked herself out (a trip to hospital but, apart from a few bruises, she was ok) but it meant she couldn't do the harbour bridge climb. Fortunately, one of Sarah's uni friends was able to take Helen's place on the bridge climb.

Looking forward to seeing those photos!

Hi Jayne, already thinking we need more time to explore this city. Not sure I'm going to manage to climb that bridge though. Hope you enjoy the photos I am about to post from our first few hours here in Sydney. Xx
