Our return to Deadwood was through a different route - we went south of the Badlands and took Highway 44 into Rapid City and then southwest to hook up again with 385 into Deadwood. We got into Deadwood about 8 pm and stopped at Pizza Hut to get a pie to bring back to our hotel room. We enjoyed our pizza and pepsi while chatting online with Evan - gotta love the web cam! After that, we called it a night ... tomorrow we head into North Dakota.
