I’ve received complaints that my blog should start in Connecticut and New York since we are here and you are not. So I will. Doug was born in Waterbury, CT and grew up in Naugatuck just south of Waterbury. We are staying with one of his high school buddies, George Krodel and his wife Roseanne. They are the best!! Here are pictures of where he grew up. First is the Congregational Church where Doug was baptized. Here is a picture of how the tenants of George’s live. Then the banks of the Naugatuck River.
