We left Biloela late Sunday morning, and had a great  time with the Harris's.
It was a great drive and we stayed overnight at a free camp at 'Fat Hen Creek'
half way between Kilkivan and the Gympie highway turnoff. Had drinks with 2 couples
who are also coming to the end of their trips. Lots to talk about and as they both had
Bushtracker vans, we looked thru the vans and each owner compared the finer ponts.
They are off roaders and very expensive, but if you've got it why not.
After a restful night, we make the final leg toward Brisbane. The traffic is frantic compared
to most of our trip. We drive over the new side of the Gateway Bridge and onto Reddie Bay.
We had a lovely surprise, or should l say we gave my mother a surprise, when we knocked
on our door and hid. She gave us 2 months of hugs, and continued on with preparing a lovely
dinner for us. It was lovely to see her and didn't mind being spoilt.
