That's the name of our brand new, second hand, kind of works, give or take 15 minutes, imported from Asia ALARM CLOCK! Got it from one of those walk-in, side-of-the-road, we-sell-bobby-pins-and-blankets-and-batteries-and-40-year-old-eyeshadow places. We love Fruit Love Cone! I mean really how could you NOT love Fruit Love Cone.
Man service is so TIRING here. We are practically DEAD after 3 hours. It's hot, and windy, and you're constantly walking. But it's awesome :) I have mad respect for the pioneers here. I don't know how they get 70 hours a month, as tiring as it is! Again, we have it easy at home :) Somebody told me that they've heard America is like Disney World. I've never been to Disney World, but I'm pretty sure they're right. Our streets are clean, our water is drinkable, our cars have air conditioning, our showers are hot (they don't even have hot water for dishes), and our dogs are on leashes. Very different :) Anyway we did 3 hours in the morning, and Bethy went on a study with Isabel and Mer in the afternoon. Good news! The study's daughter Angie (hearing) is going to start studying next Wednesday at 1! We got into a discussion with her about the Ngobe protest and went from there. We ended up talking about her grandfather who had died. Isa asked her if she believed in the resurrection, and Angie said yes. She says she remembers being at her grandfathers grave when they were burying him, thinking,' how in the world is he going to get out of there, in that box and with all that dirt on top of him? Well, God promised it, so he will be able to somehow.' Awwww heart puff! She workes at a bakery by Romeros where they have 40 cent ice cream and we see her there :) Can't wait to see where that goes :)
