Stayed in Ennis last night which is a small Irish town. It's funny walking down the streets and seeing Irish bars like Four Courts, but here all the bars look like that. I met two really neat girls in my hostel room last night that were in their mid twenties and were very well traveled. They gave me tons of travel trips and if you think I'm adventurous, these two put me to shame. One girl spent 5 weeks in Egypt all by herself just traveling around. One was from Australia, the other Scotland and both had done the 6 month leave of absence from work, but they said it was an extremely common thing to do where they come from. One of my goals when I return is to persuade you all to help me make it more common for Americans! The three of us went out to a local pub and drank a pint of Guiness and listened to traditional Irish band that was playing live. It was so much fun, and a fantastic Friday night. I'm actually beginning to loose track of days, which is OK as long as I remember to make my flights. This morning at breakfast a girl asked us all where we were headed today, and I honestly said I didn't know. I had no idea where I was going to go today, just woke up and made a spur of the moment decision (see, when left to my own, I truly do not plan:)) I hopped in the car and drove around County Clare and saw all the non-touristy cliffs which were great. Did some hiking on some of the cliffs and sat on a beach (yes, it was a tad bit cold but the sun was shinning) all bundled up just enjoying the view. I decided to come back to Ennis tonight and stay in the same hostel, and catch some more Guiness and music. Tomorrow I drive back to Dublin and catch a flight out Monday for Frankfurt. Who knows where I go from there ...
