After the sunny day yesterday we decided to stay an extra day. We woke up to sun even though the forecast was for overcast skies and a chance of showers. Last night the girls wanted to highlight my hair so we stayed up LATE and did our hair in the bathroom of the campground!! One lady walked in and was surprised - she said, "whoa!" when she saw me in my cap and them with gloves on hard at work!! Well, it turned out good and Rachel won't have to be worried :) Just had to cover up a little gray :(

We had a great day in the town of Oliva and made it back before the thunder storm! We walked to town 1/2 hour each way, did some grocery shopping and caught the outdoor market where we picked up a few trinkets :) We just wished we had some bikes, and we haven't been able to find any cheap ones anywhere!!!!! What a great little town - We spoke a little spanish and it makes us all want to learn more!! Tomorrow we will wake up early and head to the Basque Region and Don's heritage! (Border of France and Spain)

any attempt to speak the native language they will fall all over you. Great county, great people. Still have friend in Spain that I met at Dream University in Hawaii, she keeps asking me to come over for an extended stay. I will have to take her up on that soon

Como estas ustedes? I've tried for years to learn a few words, but I don't work at it hard enough. I'm so happy for all of you, can't wair til yoou'e been back home for awhile so I can see movies and hear your tales! Love

Happy Mothers Day to my incredible daughter!! You are the sunshine of my life. (What grey hair....you are only 25 yrs old...ha ha ha).
I am surprised they don't have bikes to rent....oh well think how physically fit you all are going to be.
