WHell, WHat a day we have had! We got up early, in Monterey, and scooted to the port for a spot of WHale WHatching. Hopped on the boat and bobbed out to sea.

We were told to 'layer up' due to the changeable weather so I went dressed as someone who has to always wear all their clothes; but felt at a comfortable temperature throughout. We managed to bag a few cracking shots of some humpback whales wafting their tails around like a portly gent waving a waiter. Sadly non on here as the zoom isn't quite as fanciful.

We decided to head straight to our next destination. Via the usual Costco trip, I think they have sent some sort of telegram throughout to prepare the staff for Dan's irrational behaviour.

Upon arriving in Santa Cruz we realised that it Is the first time we have showed up early to a place... So we walked down to the beach and relaxed on the pier all afternoon until the sunset. For me, that is bliss.
