I met Emmy in DC, but it was here we developed the destructive friendship that we both know and love. Waking up around 5.a.m. to wait all day at the tennis courts and, because of rain, wait until after 10p.m. to play...both of us hating tennis and our lives...both of us playing awful and losing...a van ride home where we both cry when our coaches tell us how horrible we are..Yes, I will always love this girl. We suffered through something we both suffered through all the time, but on this rare occasion we were not alone.
